ViBo is an open format for the arts. You are encouraged to download the layout, change it, make the card, add your project and sell it for under € 100.

ViBo is a new way to sell Video art and New Media projects with the peculiarity of being uneditioned, unsigned and inexpensive. ViBo stands for Video Book. It has a 7” screen where the video can be previewed and a flash memory storing it in Hi Res. You can connect ViBo to your computer through a microUSB port in order to download the video file and to store and keep it safe.
ViBo wants to use a model similar to the way in which books and tunes are sold, where the price is low and nearly the same for each author.
Price does not determine the quality of an artwork. Change is possible.

ViBo was conceived by artist Carlo Zanni in 2013. The first prototype was shown and sold in Los Angeles at Young Projects Gallery during the “The Zero To One Hundred Pop-Up”.




TERMS:

Downloading the ViBo graphic layout you agree to the following:

a) You agree not to change or delete anything except the marked sections in the layout itself (COVER: Artist Name, Project Title, Year, File Size, Video length. BACK COVER: Synopsis, Biography, Certification logos, Model and Made in. BOOK SPINE: Artist Name, Project Title, Year. GENERAL ASPECT: Font Color, Card Color background. Poster content).

b) You agree not to edition & not to sign your ViBo.

c) You agree to keep the price under € 100

d) You agree to add a link back to this website (http://www.thisisvibo.com) at the end of the description of your ViBo on sale wherever it will (personal site, gallery, bookstore…)

e) You agree to notify this website (http://www.thisisvibo.com) with your name, your personal site and the place/s where the ViBo is on sale (personal site, gallery, bookstore…)
